Individual families come together to form local Kolping Families of 10 or more households. Members undergo a 1-year formation journey based on spiritual growth, solidarity, and self-help.

The Motor Vehicle Mechanics course at KVTC prepares students for careers as professional auto technicians. Students spend 70% of their time in the garage operating OBD-II diagnostic scanners, dismantling engine blocks, servicing braking systems, and tuning manual and automatic transmissions.

Every student completes a 3-month industrial attachment in major automotive garages and dealerships across Nairobi. KVTC also assists graduates with seed loans to open auto repair shops.
