Internal Savings Groups (ISGs) form the economic backbone of every local Kolping Family. Members pool small weekly or monthly savings into a self-governed group fund. The accumulated capital is then used to grant short-term interest-bearing loans to members for school fees, emergency medical expenses, and small business expansion.
Peer monitoring ensures a near 100% repayment rate while fostering strong bonds of Christian solidarity among members.
